Introducing the Monday Series "Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo is Here"
Every Monday, we bring you information about Ginza's new landmark, the 3D trick art Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo, in our special series "Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo is Here."
Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo Project
A massive 4m wide and 6m tall 3D trick art piece, Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo, has appeared at an intersection in Ginza. It is located along the Nishi Ginza dori (Sotobori-dori).
The Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo is designed based on an actual Jizo statue found in Ginza, aiming to harmonize with the area. Although it is a flat piece of art, the trick art technique used makes it appear three-dimensional when viewed from the intersection.
The project aims to promote XPAND Code, secure a permanent demonstration site for outdoor signage and mobile integration using XPAND Code, and make the Ginza walk more enjoyable with a new landmark. We hope you will take selfies with Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo and make it a memorable part of your Ginza experience. Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo aspires to grow as a hub for information dissemination.
The Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo is registered as a tourist attraction on Google Maps and is also listed on the travel site TripAdvisor.
In fact, by scanning the XPAND Code featured on the base of the Ginza Daifuku Great Jizo shown on Google Maps, you can access Explore Ginza. Give it a try for a virtual experience, even if you're far away.
