On 7th October, starting at 12:00 PM, a piano performance by music therapist and pianist HANA no Oto was held at the Ginza Glass View Stage. She is a professional pianist who studied music in university and delivers the "Flower of Smiles."
The programme for the day was "Showa Songs to Listen to on a Grand Piano." With songs related to Showa-era (1926-1989) and Ginza, the music adorned Ginza on a Saturday afternoon.
HANA no Oto herself introduced the episodes and backgrounds of each song, allowing the audience to feel not just the music but also the stories and culture behind it. The performance that day became a beautiful moment, creating connections among people through music. Particularly impressive was her playing the piano and how her music blended into the atmosphere of Ginza.
This event, in Ginza where digital and analog, new and nostalgic intersect, provided a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
