Major Update to XPAND Code Gratis

XPAND Code Gratis has become an even more convenient tool, with adverts removed and a new feature to launch the scanning app directly.
Give it a try!

There are two main changes:

Adverts Removed

Previously, Gratis would display an advert after scanning before proceeding to the content.
We trialled removing adverts temporarily for exhibitions and similar events, and received a very positive response — so we've decided to remove adverts entirely, just like the paid version.
This means the experience from scanning to content display is now noticeably faster, offering a smoother scan than even a QR code.

QR Code Added to Launch the XPAND Code Reader

We still hear from people who come across an XPAND Code but aren't sure how to scan it.
With this update, a QR code to launch the reader has been added directly to XPAND Code Gratis. Even without the app installed, users can now launch the XPAND Code Reader on the spot.
The paid version, XPAND Code Q (QR composite type), has also been updated to the same specification from today.
Note that the paid version still allows you to download an XPAND Code without the QR code, as before.
