XPAND Code SDG4
We offer two types of XPAND Codes to suit your purposes: the free version, XPAND Code Gratis, and the paid version, XPAND Code Pro.
We have not previously offered a dedicated programme for the education sector, although we have seen Gratis used in that context.
Following requests from the education field for access to the full-featured version of XPAND Code, we have been developing the equivalent of an academic pricing plan.
We are pleased to announce the new “XPAND Code SDG4” plan.
The reason we have named it “SDG4” rather than “Academic” is that it is designed to support learning opportunities more broadly, including lifelong learning, and to encourage wider adoption by casting a broader net in terms of eligible users.

Targeted Entities
All organizations that aim to provide learning opportunities (hereinafter referred to as “target organizations”) are eligible.
In addition to regular schools, the following types of organisations are also eligible, for example:
- Voluntary organisations (with or without legal personality) engaged in supplementary education for students
- Lifelong learning groups
- Private tutoring schools
Please note that use for purposes other than educational programmes — such as facilities management — is not eligible.

Fees
15 euros per year per XPAND Code
*Approximately 70% less than XPAND Code Pro.
*A minimum order of 10 codes is required.

Start date: January 4, 2021 (Monday)
Application Method
Applications should be submitted by the representative of the eligible organisation, covering all codes at once.
Payment is to be made by bank transfer in advance.
Case
We have provided a beta version of the XPAND Code SDG4 for a project at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, one of Japan’s leading art universities.
