At the final league match of football club 鎌倉インテル みんなの鳩サブレ―スタジアム, we conducted a proof-of-concept trial using XPAND Code.
The team needed to win by three or more goals to claim the block title — a nail-biting match — but 結果はthey delivered a commanding 5–0 victory! 18日の昇格決定戦に進むことが決まりました。
Hato Stadium was a wonderfully handcrafted ground with a superb sense of unity between the fans and the team.
It's rare to find a club where fans can walk onto the pitch after the final whistle and take commemorative photos with the players.
On the day, we tested prototype versions of a virtual scoreboard and virtual electronic display board, both powered by XPAND Code.
At the stadium entrance, we set up an AR experience showcasing the match-day sponsor's logo.
Inside the stadium, we installed a 9-metre-wide banner for the virtual scoreboard; scanning the XPAND Code let supporters follow the score in real time.
We'll take the insights and lessons learnt here and apply them to improvements ahead of next season.
