From 12:00 on 7th October, a piano recital by music therapist and pianist Hananooto was held on the Ginza Glass View Stage. A thoroughly trained musician who studied music at university, she is a pianist dedicated to delivering "flowers of smiles" to her audience.
The programme for the day was "Shōwa Era Songs You Want to Hear on a Grand Piano." Performing pieces associated with the Shōwa era and with Ginza itself, she adorned a Saturday afternoon in Ginza with beautiful music.
Hananooto introduced the episodes and backgrounds behind each piece herself, allowing the audience not only to enjoy the music but also to feel the stories and culture woven into every song.
The performance became a beautiful moment that brought not only music but also a sense of human connection. Particularly memorable was the sight of her playing the piano, and the way her music seemed to dissolve into the very air of Ginza.
This event offered a wonderful Saturday afternoon in Ginza — a place where the digital and the analogue, the new and the nostalgic, intertwine.
